M-Kristo (“M-Kristo”, “we”, “us”) provides the M-Kristo mobile app and website. Your prayer life is personal, and we treat the information you share with us with the same care. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
01Information we collect
Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password. We send one-time codes to your email to verify your account and to reset your password.
Profile: an optional profile photo, preferred language, and reminder preferences.
Content you create: journal (Tafakari) entries, favorites, highlights, reading and novena progress, and course progress.
Device information: platform, app version and, if you allow notifications, a push notification token.
Purchases: if you subscribe to Premium, Apple or Google processes the payment. We receive the subscription status and transaction identifiers through RevenueCat. We never receive or store your card details.
02How we use information
To provide the app: sign you in, sync your journal, favorites and progress across devices, and unlock Premium content you have paid for.
To send service messages such as verification codes, password resets and reminders you have turned on.
To keep M-Kristo secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never use your journal entries for advertising.
03Your journal is private
Journal entries are visible only to you. They are stored on our servers so that they are not lost if you change phones, and they are protected in transit with encryption. Our staff do not read journal entries except where you ask us to for support, or where the law requires it.
05How long we keep information
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.
06Your choices and rights
You can view and update your profile in the app at any time, change your language, and turn reminders on or off.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account from Settings in the app or by emailing support@m-kristo.com.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
07Children
M-Kristo is suitable for families, but accounts are intended for people aged 13 and over. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
08Security
We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, short-lived sign-in tokens and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your email account secure.
09Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
